Why choose Semi-cassette awning?
A closure designed around your needs
The survey confirms exposure, facade geometry, substrate, correct cassette closure, fabric and compatible operation.
What makes this model different
- Fabric stored in a cassette
- Visible and accessible arms
- Balance of protection and space
- Crank or motorisation depending on model
- Made-to-measure configuration after survey
This model is right for you if
Choose the semi-cassette to protect the retracted fabric while keeping the arms visible and accessible.
- Partly exposed terraces and balconies
- Facades requiring a discreet compromise
- Protecting retracted fabric
- Direct access to the arms for maintenance
Consider another solution if
Compare the monobloc for a very sheltered and simpler installation, or the full cassette to enclose the arms as well.
Security designed for its use
The semi-cassette reference must be selected with its wind class, instructions and operating limits. The cassette protects retracted fabric but does not make the awning suitable for all weather.

Options and configurations
Configuration
Wall mounting
Best suited if: Recommended when the substrate allows the cassette to align and close.
Crank
Best suited if: Recommended on a compatible reference for simple operation.
Motorisation
Best suited if: Recommended for frequent use after compatibility is confirmed.
Fabric and controls
Collection fabric
Best suited if: Selected according to exposure, appearance and model compatibility.
Radio control
Best suited if: Use when the motor and radio environment are compatible.
Wind sensor
Best suited if: May help retract the awning but does not replace preventive closure in strong winds.
Intrusion-resistance measures
- An awning is solar protection and is not an anti-intrusion closure.
User-safety measures
- Validate the substrate and fixings
- Check complete cassette closure at installation
- Retract preventively in strong winds or deteriorating weather
Understanding the quote
A semi-cassette awning is priced by quotation according to the model, dimensions, fabric, substrate and operation.
What the quote includes
- Survey and substrate validation
- Selection of cassette and fabric
- Definition of installation and operation
What affects the price
- Dimensions and projection
- Semi-cassette reference
- Fabric and finish
- Compatible motor and controls
- Site access
The quotation confirms cassette closure, fixings, controls and the operating limits of the model.
Frequently asked questions about Semi-cassette awning
What does a semi-cassette awning protect?
The cassette protects the fabric and roller tube when retracted. The arms remain visible beneath it.
How does it differ from a monobloc?
A monobloc has no cassette. On a semi-cassette, the retracted fabric is stored and better protected from dirt.
How does it differ from a full cassette?
A full cassette encloses the arms as well; a semi-cassette leaves them visible and accessible.
Can a semi-cassette awning be motorised?
Yes when the reference and dimensions are compatible. The control and power supply are confirmed during the survey.
Can it remain open in rain or strong wind?
No. It is solar protection; the weather limits in its instructions must be observed and the awning retracted preventively.
