Industrial sectional door motor and control panel repair in Paris 13e
In logistics hubs, commercial premises and company car parks in the 13th arrondissement, doors are almost always motorised, and the drive system is what fails. Shasama Fermetures diagnoses the motor, control panel and wiring, replaces a failed shaft-mounted motor, repairs or replaces the circuit board (we supply AFCA, GFA, NICE and Somfy boards), changes a capacitor alone, restores photocells and safety edges, reprogrammes the closing delay at the manager’s request and checks the emergency operating chain. Mechanical faults affecting springs, cables, rollers and panels are repaired during the same visit.
Before calling, photograph the code on the control panel and motor identification plate without opening the panel, and tell us whether the door is shared or serves only your premises: we arrange access to the level with the manager if needed. Our premises are in the arrondissement at 25 rue de Tolbiac. To equip a door that is still manual, see industrial sectional door motorisation.
Error codes, circuit breakers and badges: understanding a motorised door fault
On a motorised door, observations before calling guide the diagnosis and parts to bring. Also note the motor make and voltage on its plate: we repair three-phase 400 V and 230 V motors after electrical isolation.

A shared door or your premises’ door: who orders the repair?
In a shared building, the faulty door may serve several occupants or only your premises, which changes who orders the repair.
Shared door
The door to a level, shared loading bay or ramp. The building manager generally orders the repair and also manages badges and programming.
Your premises’ door
The door serving only your premises. The occupant often orders the repair, according to the lease; access to the level is arranged with the manager.
If unsure, give us both contacts: the quote goes to whoever orders the work.
Our premises in the 13th arrondissement
Whatever the building, our announced arrival is the same throughout Paris: within 20 minutes.

Replacing an industrial sectional door motor
Example intervention
The problem : an industrial sectional door motor in a warehouse had failed.
What we did : we replaced it with a new shaft-mounted motor beside the cable drum, connected it to its control board and closed the casing, with the emergency operating chain in place.

Motorised doors in the 13th arrondissement: your questions
An error code appears on a Hörmann or Assa Abloy sectional door: what should I do?
The code indicates why the door stopped, with a meaning specific to the drive system’s make and model. Photograph the display and motor plate and send them before the visit: this helps the technician prepare possible replacement parts.
A sectional door’s circuit breaker trips: what should I do?
Do not reset it repeatedly: a breaker that trips again generally signals a motor, wiring or control panel fault. Note when it trips, at rest, on starting or during travel; in a shared building, inform the manager if the distribution board is shared.
A sectional door remote no longer responds: what should I check?
Try the inside button or another remote: if the door responds, change the battery or have the transmitter reprogrammed. If nothing moves, the fault is more likely the receiver, control panel or power supply: call us with the motor make.
A control panel circuit board has failed: must the whole drive system be replaced?
Not necessarily: we repair the circuit board or replace it with one compatible with the drive system’s make and model, and supply boards for AFCA, GFA, NICE and Somfy motors. An unlit indicator or unresponsive controls may also result from lost power, a fuse or a safety device: diagnosis determines the cause before the quote. Before calling, note the make and reference on the front of the control panel and its indicator lights without opening it: wiring work follows electrical isolation, by an electrically authorised technician.
Who can change a sectional door’s automatic closing delay?
The delay before automatic closing is a control panel setting specific to the drive system’s make and model. In a shared building, the manager generally sets it, like the rest of the programming: have them approve the new delay before asking us to change it. We then adjust it at your or their request, even without a fault: the technician sets it in the control panel and checks the photocells before allowing automatic closing.
A sectional door opens by itself: what should I do?
Once the door is closed, switch off its power if the premises must remain closed, then call us; in a shared building, also inform the manager. Note when it opens (at night, after a power cut, as a vehicle passes) and how many remotes are in circulation: these clues guide the technician towards a stuck transmitter, faulty control or circuit board.
